We all know Kalan lacks in the dancing ability department - but hey, it's ok, because most of us do. It can definitely be applauded and appreciated that he tried on Canadian Idol and was encouraged to do so. But really, folks, it doesn't matter if the boy can't dance because his use of the stage is much better than dancing. Does anyone remember Kalan performing ‘Born To Be Wild'? He moved around on the entire stage with a lot of emotion and feeling! That's what we want! And he does that with every performance. What about how he handles his violin while performing with it? That whole back-to-back thing with Derek? Definitely better than dancing. In which case, who needs dancing?
