"Canadian Idol winner Kalan Porter was so touched by the tale of a 10-year-old Burnaby boy born with cerebral palsy that he is flying across the country next week to play a concert for his cause.

The story of Dex Wong, a Chaffey-Burke elementary school student, resonated with the three-time Juno-nominee so much that he’s agreed to play a fundraising concert at the Michael J. Fox Theatre on Tuesday...
