WANT KALAN ON YOUR IPOD/MP3 PLAYER?

- some people who have tried putting 219 Days onto their mp3 players or ipods have found it very difficult, thanks to SONY BMG's write-protected music
- so, if you're dying to get Kalan on your Ipod or whatever, we thought we'd post a few tutorials that might help

- USING WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER:

1. pop 219 Days into your computer and wait for the software thing to load and use it to copy the songs onto your computer
2. open Windows Media Player and load the songs
3. now click on COPY TO CD OR DEVICE to burn the songs (note: burning these songs will only work in windows media player)
4. after WMP has burned the songs for you, open up Itunes or MusicMatch (depending on what you use to transfer your songs to your MP3 Player) and import the music directly from the newly-burned CD
5. And now you can update your Ipod or MP3 player with Kalan's music!

- DIRECTLY FROM THE CD (don't need to waste a CD-R with this method):

1. put 219 Days into your computer and press alt+shift to stop the autorun feature from running
2. right-click on MY COMPUTER and select PROPERTIES
3. Click on the HARDWARE tab and then select DEVICE MANAGER
4. Go to VIEW and click on DEVICES BY CONNECTION
5. Got to VIEW again and click on SHOW HIDDEN DEVICES
6. Scroll down till you find something with the name "SbcpHid"
7. Right-click on it and press PROPERTIES
8. Where it says Device Usage, select DO NOT USE THIS DEVICE
9. Click on the DRIVER tab and where it says Startup - TYPE, select DISABLE
10. Press OK, it'll ask you to restart your computer, say yes to restart.
11. Once Windows starts up again, open up Itunes or MusicMatch or whatever program you use to extract songs from CDs and import the songs.
12. That's it! Now just put them on your MP3 player or Ipod and you're done!
